Paraplanner – Client Engagement & Presentation Support

Role Overview

The Paraplanner plays a key role in supporting new business and enhancing the client experience. This position focuses on two core areas:

  • Lead Qualification: Conduct brief, structured calls with prospective clients to assess fit, gather key information, and support onboarding into the planning process
  • Presentation Development: Create customized, polished PowerPoint presentations to support advisor-led client meetings

This is a highly collaborative, detail-driven role requiring strong communication skills and a clear understanding of the client journey.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect Discovery & Lead Qualification

  • Conduct 15-minute introductory calls with inbound leads using a structured script
  • Qualify prospects based on planning needs and alignment with firm services (non-sales role)
  • Document call details and next steps in Wealthbox CRM
  • Coordinate with advisors on lead status, follow-ups, and scheduling
  • Serve as a professional and welcoming first point of contact

Sales Meeting Presentation Development

  • Prepare customized PowerPoint presentations for client meetings
  • Translate financial data, goals, and insights into clear, client-friendly visuals
  • Maintain consistent branding and formatting standards
  • Collaborate with advisors to align presentations with planning strategies

Ideal Candidate

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1–3 years of experience in financial planning, sales support, or advisory operations
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and creating high-quality presentations
  • Basic understanding of financial planning concepts
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred:

  • Experience with Wealthbox CRM
  • Experience working with financial advisors or in a planning-focused firm
